I am having a problem with paper size using Carlson Survey 2009 with intellicad. I have been using Carlson with Autocad 2000 for years. I have just upgraded my computer and 2000 will not work with a 64 bit computer. I am going to upgrade but am not sure if I want intellicad or embedded autocad. I have loaded the Carlson with intellicad to try it out. When I tried to plot out a drawing, I discovered that there are none of the Arch paper sizes included. That is all that I use. Is there anyway to down load them or set them up with custom sizes. Thanks
I just dealt with this over the weekend with Carlson Civil on Intellicad 7.1. Here's what worked for me. I went to "printer properties" for my Designjet 800 thru the Win7 "Devices and Printers" menu, then selected the "paper standards" tab and unchecked then rechecked the box beside the arch sizes. When I restarted Carlson Civil, the arch sizes were suddenly available.
Carlson has made great strides with Intellicad 7.1 but it still isn’t Acad. If I was familiar with Acad and had access to a current version I would stay with Acad.

One thing I've seen that can contribute to this problem is if you have not downloaded the correct printer drivers from the printer manufacturer's web-site. If you opt to use the "generic" drivers that come with Windows, the printers will work but may not give you the advanced functionality and paper-sizes that your printer can use.
That did it! Thanks
