I updated to Carlson Survey 2019 OEM and somewhere in the mix, any file extension related to my survey work has no idea what program to use to open from .dwg to .raw to .asc.?ÿ It is a Microsoft 10 problem somewhere.?ÿ I found the settings to change the program that opens up each extension which only made me realize the depth of the problem.?ÿ There are a lot of different extensions related to Cad.?ÿ I could spend hours trying to find each one alphabetically.?ÿ There used to be a pretty Carlson picture next to each drawing file and now there is nothing.?ÿ Is there a quick fix to this.?ÿ My first attempt to fix it ended up looking for "apps" to open files with.?ÿ I believe I am looking for programs, not apps.?ÿ Thanks for the help in advance.

You can rack your brain trying to figure these kinda things out.?ÿ If the easy fixes don't work it might be worth an uninstall and reinstall.?ÿ

A Google search for "windows 10 associate file extension with application" turned up this suggestion:
Windows 10: Associate a File Type with a Specific App
- Open the Control Panel.
- Under the Default Programs window, click on the ??Associate a file type or protocol with a program? link.
- In the Set Associations window, scroll down the list until you see the file extension that you want to change the default program for.
- The Open With dialog box should appear.
You could also try right-clicking on the DWG and choose the Open With option and then browse to the Carlson 2019 application.?ÿ
