We just got new computers and software. With the new Carlson...here is my question.
How do I make points or lines "bold" or "highlighted" when dragging the cursor over them? With the older Carlson line segments would get brighter and points would too enabling you to read point description etc. in a cluster. I'm pretty new to the office end, but I do know a little about computers.
I apologize if this is redundant question. I searched the forum and probably wasn't using relative terms.
Any help is appreciated,
It's inside the AutoCAD options.

You probably want/need to set the SelectionPreview variable to 3 which can also be controlled through a dialog box interface for AutoCAD-based installations via Settings -- AutoCAD Options -- Selection tab as shown below:
