My company has licenses of both Civil 3D and Carlson Survey, which runs over top of AutoCAD.  I want to set it up so I have both menus at the same time.  I was able to do this by starting Carlson and importing the Civil 3D menus via the "CUI" command and transferring the .cuix file of Civil 3D, but the menu buttons are all clouds with question marks, even though the C3D commands still work.

My dream is so close to coming true.  I don't know if any of you have tried it, but if you got it to work, how did you do it?

I cant remember where I read it, but I'll look tomorrow.  If I recall correctly, you just need to add the path to the icons for the commands that you're adding to your CUI, somewhere under Options \files

Take a look at this.  It should point you in the right direction.
