Does anyone know if Carlson has a training video or movie on the centerline commands? I rarely use them, but am working on a project that it would be very helpful.
I learned them by working through the examples in the help menu (used to be a printed book), pretty powerful yet straightforward.
I never used it until recently. It basically goes like this:(1) create a centerline PLine in PC software (Carlson survey, civil) (2) export CL (3) load CL in SurvCE, just throw it in there with the points... It's the only one (4) "stake offset" in survCE (4) choose number one, centerline file (5) select the only centerline in your data collector (6) should be in station and offset in the field now based off your Carlson CL Polyline.
Did you get it?
Or do you have any specific questions about it?
The concept and application of station equations is unclear to me. The rest of centerline work is pretty straight forward.
Thanks everyone. I figured out enough to do what I needed to to in CAD. I need to become much more proficient with it though.
