Carrie suffered a massive heart attack on airplane from England to Los Angeles. May she rest in peace. I just saw the new movie, Rogue One last night, it was a good movie. Carrie made a cameo appearance in it at the end. Prayers for her family and friends and followers.

Her famous father, Eddie Fisher, married her famous mother, Debbie Reynolds, in 1955 prior to Debbie's arrival in 1956. Later she was able to call famous actress, Elizabeth Taylor, and famous actress, Connie Stevens, mother (step-mother) as well. Her father's last two wives weren't nearly as well known as the first three.
I'm not sure that was as much a cameo as an insertion of an image of her.
I had Peter Mayhew pegged for the "first to go" from the original Star Wars cast...at least until Harrison Ford showed off his dead-stick-hey-there's-a-golf course landing talents. Sorry to hear of her passing.
And to add insult to injury, most of the "Who's left us in 2016" clips have already been filmed.
Yes, it was a cgi made to look a bit younger than she was in the first Star Wars. Btw, the cgi has gotten a lot better but still a bit off imo.
R.I.P.
Episode 8 has already been filmed (or at least her scenes in the movie have).
I hope they give her a good sendoff, although part of me will always want to believe Leia is offscreen somewhere on her own adventure.
May the Force be with her !

The stuff you learn that you never realized you needed to know.
It was revealed a while back by Carrie that she had an affair for three months during the filming of the original Star Wars movie with Harrison Ford. She was 19 and he was 33 at the time.
And all these years I thought it was General Motors that had "Body by Fisher", not Ford.
