If my Dad was still with us, he would be 100 years old today. He was also my mentor in this obsession... I mean Profession of ours. He began surveying just after the start of WW2 and was active in it until he was 78. When I say active, he was front rod until then. Although never licensed, he was a superb surveyor. He worked for several large companies as Chief of Parties and in his later years he worked for smaller companies. On his death bed, I told him that I had received my license. He smiled and said "Good!". When I got home a half hour later they called and said he had passed. Happy Birthday Tilson C. Carroll (6/13/1915 - 1/15/1997)
Me. "What's the difference?"
T.C. Carroll "It's the difference between right and wrong!"
That is a nice memorial Stacy.
Excellent report. But, more important than being a very good surveyor is being a very good father. I believe he succeeded in that endeavor.
