Wow 🙁
I didn't know Kerry well personally, but knew who he was and saw him quite frequently at PLSO functions.
It is sudden deaths like this that make you realize how short life can be (I am only 8 years younger), I am reflecting right now on what is important, may we take this opportunity to all do just that.
RIP, Kerry

Like Shelby, my first reaction is to say is "Wow".
I did have the privilege of getting to know
Kerry somewhat during conversations at the
PLSO conferences and OACES meetings.
He was always personable and upbeat.
The profession, his family and fiance, and the community
have suffered a tragic loss.

This is extremely sad news. I met Kerry in 2008 and saw him a couple times a year at meetings and spoke with him quite often on the phone. He was a top flight guy and always had the best interests of the private surveyors he served as his top concern. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
I wish we’d had more time to shoot the breeze Kerry. You were a good guy and taught me a lot. There’s just so much in this life that is unfair.
Enjoy yourself.
It is later than you think.
Very Sad. RIP Kerry
Awww man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This sucks. Reading the story broke my heart!!:u:
Especially the girlfriend "love" story, story. 🙁
His friends, family, and loved ones have our deepest sympathies and condolences.
R.I.P. Kerry.

I knew Kerry through PLSO when he served on the Board of Directors as a Chapter President-Elect and then President. Very nice guy. It's sad that he's gone.
Very sad news. My condolences to his family and my prayers are with them.
Sad news. The state wide survey community will miss the friendship and input from Kerry. Just read Kerrys story in new issue of Oregon Surveyor Magazine, outstanding message and very well written Mr. Bradshaw.
Today, the late Kerry Bradshaw was posthumously awarded the County Surveyor of the Year Award for 2012 by the Oregon Association of County Engineers and Surveyors (OACES).
As outlined in posts above, Kerry was an outstanding guy and was a very active member of OACES. He networked with surveyors from throughout the state to come up with better ways to run his office and was quick to share information and ideas with fellow surveyors. His unbridled enthusiasm for surveying and problem solving was infectious and his presence will be missed.
To top it all off, he had a humorous article titled “Off by a Hare” published in the Oregon Surveyor. It told the tale of a survey crew he worked on 30 years ago in the remote northern California town of Fall River Mills. A 0.6’ bust in a complicated traverse couldn’t be isolated until the party chief realized he had twice set the gun up over a rabbit turd rather than the nearby waffle head spike that Kerry had used for the foresight and back sight. It was a well written story and went to press just a few days after Kerry died.
The plaque will be presented to Kerry’s daughters.

">His obituary from the Medford Mail Tribune:
On Sunday, July 15, 2012, the community and our family lost an outstanding soul. Our father, Kerry Bradshaw, lost his life in a motor-vehicle accident. Although the loss is great, the outreach from the community has been enormous and he will live on through his two daughters, Kelsey Bradshaw and Teddy Bradshaw, and his granddaughter, Vivian Lynch.
On January 1, 1950, Kerry was the first baby of the decade born in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Archer Lynn and Ruby Bell Arnett Bradshaw. He is survived by three brothers, Gerry, Larry, and Randy Bradshaw; and one sister, Sandra Price. Kerry was blessed to stay close to his siblings and their families his entire life. His siblings say that as a child Kerry was energetic and involved, always coming up with new ideas. Qualities which stayed with him his entire life.
Kerry was a friend to all he met and had an uncanny, Pied Piper ability with children. He was a kindred soul to all kids, no matter how young or old, keeping him young at heart. He shared his love for people by serving on the District 6 School Board, Central Point Rotary Club, and the Central Point Parks and Recreation Committee. Kerry was also a proud friend of Bill's for over 26 years.
The memory of our dad will not fade easily. He truly was a phenomenal parent that helped create a beautiful life for us. Kerry was a wonderful dancer, exceptional prankster, and an ace adventurer. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations in Kerry's name be made to the Crater Foundation, 300 Ash Street, Central Point, Ore. We welcome the community to Crater High School's Performing Arts Center this Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., for a celebration of Kerry's life.
