Holy moly, good thing the world turns uphill. Getting older sure beats the heck out of the option of not getting older.

For the record, my 31 yr old daughter was induced for labor at 5 am EDT in MI. Still waiting for the pumpkin to pop. His name will be Henry. Not a doubt he'll take after his super smiley 2.5 yr old big brother (Calvin) and be chick magnets.

I just mentioned to daughter that "...Jesse, the poor SOB is gonna be a friggin Gemini. He may turn out like me. Please give him and extra hug..."

Happy B'Day Wendell. I'm about 2 weeks behind you, knocking on 60. You're gonna have Henry right with you today. He's just gonna be about a couple hours old, but has some good mentors....

Seems kinda weird to post to your own post, but the pumpkin popped about an hour ago in wonderful downtown Grand Rapids, MI.

Mom is cool, critter is a critter and life is good. I even got a call from my ex (moms mom), not that I particularly care to talk with the gal. But she did call. I'll talk to dad later and likely mom tomorrow.

Now I have 2 grand kids. Still not gray hair and my wiener still works (last I checked), but it's Wendells Birthday and he now has a counterpart to solve all our problems.... still, the poor guy is a 2 hr old Gemini, and we all are really goofy

Not sure where they came up with Henry. Old names are cool though IMO. I'll just call him Wendell and hope he never "grows up" to become a surveyor....lol.
