I resemble that remark.
@squirl?ÿ
Why don't you just shut up and welcome the newbie instead of scaring him off? And i'm not grumpy either! ?????ÿ
Welcome! I just started going through the slow painful process of learning Trimble last week. I could probably learn something off of you. I had some experience with the older access on rtk but using the new version and with robotic is a learning curve compared with fieldgenius.?ÿ
Sounds like you??ve got experience with a lot of cool stuff.?ÿ
Welcome to an incredible site.?ÿ BTW, there are no grumpy old guys on this site.?ÿ Some, however, have seen much more of the survey world than others.?ÿ Their advice is sometimes mistaken as grumpiness.?ÿ I don't qualify as I am not a septuagenarian.
Be warned, some of the alleged grumpy old guys are very, very sneaky.
Welcome, friend.
@350rocketmike Hi, yes its a learning curve for sure, i was beyond frustrated when i moved from TDS to Access, but once you know it the workflow is pretty fluid.?ÿ Ask me anything!
@jimmac?ÿ
Which Trimble equipment are you running? I'm now using a tsc5, an s5 and an r10 on vrs. Still waiting for a sim card so the r10 only runs with a half functional tsc3 and all of a sudden I'm getting a bunch of gps jobs, when normally it's all robotic work.?ÿ
I don't qualify...

@350rocketmike we run R8's, R10's, and R12i's, Along with S6's and an S7.?ÿ We have our TSC3's on our Can-net Rovers, TSC7's for the crews, and i am about to pickup a couple of TSC5's as i want to move away from the TSC7's.?ÿ Most of our work is Land Development, so GPS it utilized the most.
