Hey all, I'm from the flatlands of FL. I got into surveying by an impulsive decision back in my early 20s and worked in the field for a couple years on the instrument. I've since attended college to get my AA in Architecture/building technology as it was the closest thing to a surveying (there were a couple of civil/surveying courses in the program.) and have now been working in the office side with for about 3 years. I would love to get licensed at some point as I'm still pursuing the requirements set forth by the state. Finishing up a B.A. and will attend a geomatics program. Anyways I've used this forum as a resource and would like to extend a thank you to all the surveyors out there who take the time to publish reference material for new(ish) members of the community. I also have a question about datum transformations I'll post in it's correct sub-forum.
welcome!
