Hello
I'm Sam Gillard a 25 year old Land Surveyor originally from the Hunter Valley.

I completed my diploma in 2012 and started leading feels parties a little before then at a local consultancy.

Since then I've worked in construction in civil, mining, railway and for the last few years I've focussed on highway construction and gradually worked my way north along the Pacific Highway.

Welcome. You have found the best place to be. But watch out for the spelling police as some of them are downright wicked.

"feels parties"

Is that a bit like going to a junior high dance and the lights go out all of a sudden?

Welcome to the forum.

Do you mind sharing anything that's different over there? Many of us are not world travelers. Ya ever have trouble with the wildlife over there?

Just curious, where did you graduate from? I have a guy who graduated from Curtin University in 2011 staring work for me here outside Washington DC next month.

Sam - this question initiates you into the types of foolishness you will encounter here. Just laugh it off and pay attention to the important stuff.

Nate - seriously?!

I'm pretty sure Nate means Down Under, not "over there"...You'll find some language differences 'round here. Please forgive.:-)
