I think creating polls would be interesting.

Never used a chain period. I don't think I've even seen one up close actually.
Used a caliper with a vernier before but no survey instruments with them.

How do I create one that will give results when you respond?

@tickmagnet You can only create them in the Activity Feed (homepage), not in the forums.
Note that this will likely change in the near future.
