Hi all

I need to put together a second unit to send off to do some static obs in a couple of weeks. From what's left in the kitty I have a topcon sr and a trimble zephyr that pairs up with a trimble 5700 reveiver.

No concerns with the sr but I'm assuming I'll have some issues with observations from the 5700? These will have the date issue? I have had this in storage for a few years, what would be involved in getting observations out of it that I could then process? I know I'll need to convert the data to rinex but the date issue concerns me.

Thanks

Maybe set it up and try it out if you've got two weeks to prepare. I'm not sure about a 5700 but I have a 5800 that still works fine for static

I tried to use a borrowed 5700 to do some static observations a few weeks back and found that it had firmware issues. No useful data was collected. So check that out if you aren't sure about it. The 5700 will be GPS only if it works at all.

If the 5700 has the latest firmware it will be ok.
