ashtech Dongle L2 Gnns solution

These are sold by iGage for $995 I believe.

I know the site but 995$ for a product that is and of life is too much!

I've got a lpt dongle for Ashtech Solutions for dual frequency that I will sell cheap if you're interested. Solutions will run single frequency without it.

Actually they are less than that (better to call than poke around on the web). However, I agree that they are a difficult purchase at (nearly) that price.

There is (until the end of the year) some consideration for this however: SPSO (Spectra Precision Survey Office) is currently available at 1/2 price for anyone with a GNSS Solutions L2 Dongle.

This means that one could purchase a GNSS L2 Dongle, then purchase SPSO on the factory deal and the combined price would be less than the price of SPSO!

And (I will get in big trouble for saying this so lets hope that the people who will be mad at me are not reading Surveyor Connect) even though GNSS Solutions is currently distributed with new ProMark 120 receivers, it is as DOA as can be.

That said, I still run most important jobs through SPSO and GNSS Solutions and in general the results are within a few mm.

ëÏark silver i dont know that they discounted SPO because you have a dongle key, the wiil ask for invoices and other many things, it will not be so easy to buy spo in half price.

Perhaps, but each dongle key has a unique serial number on it. A cell-phone picture taken of the Dongle, showing the serial number will be sufficient proof.
'They' basically could be 'me' and 'me' is wired for "keep it simple", and trust me when I say that "I trust surveyors".
The problem will be software activated GNSS Solutions licenses, however a screen shot like this one (from my personal machine):

would be sufficient proof IMO.
