I'v never had it, but know several people who do.

Youngest File took the SAT today at FVCC.
She was looking a bit tired when I picked her up.

Me- How it go?
YF - Gnnnw
Me: sometimes it's fun to watch people - Some of them get pretty worked up and nearly crap themselves..."

YF- I didn't give a damn what anyone else was doing, I was too busy pretty much crapping myself!

ME- Okaaaaaaay, then- :-X where would you like to go for lunch....

That's where we're at in our house, too. Lots of SAT and ACT anxiety. Has your young'n got any interest in "following in the footsteps," as it were?

My son watched me come home cut up from blackberries and sun burnt. He's decided he wants to be a veterinarian. He turns 12 in July, so still time. lol

Mark, Has He Ever Seen What A Cat Can Do To Arms ?

We took a neutered tom in for a bladder problem, he was very sensitive. The vet knew our cat and told his assistant to put on the leather gloves. The assistant said "No, he is out." A minute later as my wife and I sat in the waiting room we heard a "Rarrrh" and saw spurts of artery blood shoot out of the examining room door, arc across the hallway and splatter on the opposite wall. What we heard after that is unrepeatable.

I would rather survey in shorts in multi-flora rose.

Mark, Has He Ever Seen What A Cat Can Do To Arms ?

Several years ago we had a stray hanging around, and we arranged for a friend to adopt him. I picked him up to put him in a cardboard box for transportation...and thereafter the cat was called Shredder after what he did to my arms and chest.

Separate subject, me after my last topo in the desert. It was really thick and I bleed easily. Long sleeve shirt? No, that's what a sensible person would do.

i thought that the new fangled teaching style was to teach kids how to take tests

i was taught how, but who knows how tests have changed

read every question
answer the easy ones
read the unanswered
answer the medium ones
read the unanswered
answer the difficult ones
review all the questions
start work on the impossible ones

my favorite was from the PLS; it included a couple GPS points, a couple turned angles w/ distances and a sighting to polaris with pertienent declination. i've never encountered such a hybrid in the real world (when's the last time anyone turned to the heavens?) and i was tired. i had left it for last.
my answer: C

My arms and hands would be cut from fingers to shoulder when surveying in Blackberries. Your picture times 20 lol. Rarely wore long sleeves in the summer. A few scratches was better than over heating. I found I barely noticed the pain ,until the day was over. I guess we get used to it.
