Your 4 part series is a nice read Wendell. I greatly appreciate the dedication that a handful of PLSO members put into the organization. Since most of us surveyors tend to be misanthropic Mavericks, it is admirable that a select few break the mold and spend countless hours volunteering to work for the profession. The classes I attended were top notch and the added icing on the education cake is that the classes not only offer insights to new knowledge but stimulate discussion and further research. A lot of the education takes place between classes, at meals, after hours. A couple days surrendered to talking survey shop, discussing problems, ideas, lessons learned and disasters averted. And it is always good to meet face to face with your peers and associates away from workday chaos and drudgery. It was great finally meeting you and Angel, some of the other posters here, and reconnecting with old friends from across the state.
And thanks for the BeerLeg Cozy. I took it Friday to our annual Paulina Lake ski trip and I never suffered for want of a cold beer. Here’s the cozy enjoying the view at Paulina Creek Falls while keeping my beer cool:

Mike Berry...
Recognize this??? B-)

PS: We have your T-Shirt. Please send me your snail mail address so I can mail it to ya.
Wendell,
Glad you posted the photos and for sharing your experience.;-) You should have no I'll feelings about attending complimentary and or feeling you were not used. I know MLV was happy to have you there as was I.:-D
For next year, booth or no booth lets talk.:bye: Im sure the Conference Committee would be be lucky to utilize your skills and knowledge in a variety of ways. As for the conference itself, from my position all I can really muster is, there is room for improvement.:-/ Our close-out meeting was great in that we have already identified issues and goals to fix for next year, as well as additional services we can provide to ensure our attendee's are getting the best cost benefit ratio.
Glad to see you and Angel there and thank you for setting up the beerlegger.
Good to sit and talk with you too Mike.
Cheers all.
Wendell and Angel,
You know we love you guys and are always glad to see, sit, visit, eat, drink and BID with you.
We bought Wendell's website package for our Church!
