Does anyone have an example of a Section that has known coordinates for the four 1/4 Corners and four Section Corners and with those coordinates it allows you to calculate the Center 1/4 Corner coordinates and other 1/16th Corners?

I was tested on this during the Oregon State Specific exam, so I am just trying to find an example for my records.

Thank you so much!

@lurker I'm looking for an example, so I don't have to make one myself 🙂

I was tested on this during the Oregon State Specific exam

Was this a multiple choice question, or were you required to compute coordinates?

Presuming that it was multiple choice, the correct choice for the C1/4 could probably be identified by choosing the answer closest to an average of the eastings of the north and south 1/4 corners, and the average of the northings of the east and west. Then the 1/16ths by a similar procedure. Rarely do they ask questions that require detailed cogo in these tests.
