Every day finds new issues but also new accomplishments. Just like everyone else.
Typed up a letter to formally announce my desire to resign from my elected position as the Township Clerk in my home area after ten plus years of service. Might be two years left in this term. Hit print and the printer went into action for the first time since my return. Then I listened as each copy fell to the floor. I can't get to floor level. "Someone" pushed the receiving tray back into the printer during my absence. Trying to pick them up with my handy dandy "extension" doesn't work well on such flat objects. Time to call on my wife for help. Aaargh!
Very glad to hear you made it home.
Some time about April I'll be in town. I'll drop by.
Glad to hear from you, HC. Hang in there.
Glad to hear that you’re able to be with us again. Take your time! You know that we are all pulling for you!
Holy Cow, it's great to have you back!
It's great to see you back! Please tell Mrs. Cow that I wish her good luck on keeping up with you in your fancy chair.
She has her hands full, that is for sure.
Welcome back and hopefully you're doing OK. It was *awfully* quiet around here in your absence 😉
Best to you~ Chuck
Glad to have you back and best of luck in your continuing recovery!
I'm wondering, are you getting at home PT on your legs or is there no chance of walking again?
At home PT officially gets started on Thursday. The initial goal is to get me able to do quite a bit of things for myself that are impossible or far too much work right now. A lot of that will focus on rebuilding my arm strength after so many weeks of doing nothing. My arms are the closest to being white that I can remember.
Sitting upright on a bed and attempting to manipulate my legs with my arms and attempting to dress myself is a HUGE chore. What would take someone else a couple of minutes takes more than fifteen minutes now. And, the results aren't necessarily ideal. Especially as I am sweating.
Today's adventure is a visit to a Wound Care Clinic. I developed a bed sore (wound) on a butt cheek during the days before entering rehab. It is almost cleared up, now, but not quite. Any injury to the area without feeling is a big deal, so here I go.
I hear that raw honey is a good to put on wounds like that. Sounds like old timey medicine but I think the VA is even using it now.
So if you can't feel your butt does that mean it fell asleep? Is it snoring........
Get well.
Glad to hear that you are making your way forward. When we first heard about the bull, it did not sound good. Your continuing recovery is an answer to many prayers.
Welcome back Cow! We've missed you on the forum. You seem to have a great attitude with all you've been through. Wishing you much success on your path to recovery.

Glad you're back. My wife kept asking about you. I don't remember if I told you, but she's from Grinnell, KS. Her dad was both a rancher and a farmer. She's told me stories about her dad's bull, Big Boss. Best of luck with your recovery.
