Worked with an engineer years ago (I think he's with Butler in Olathe, KS now) named Clarence Muensch (pronounced 'munch')....and yes, he had a brother named Richard.

My wife had an Uncle whose name was JC. His birth cert. said J only- C only. Sometimes the rowdy crowd would greet him as J only-C only!

I have a neighbor like that. He is LD. Not learning disabled. His first name is apparently L and his middle name is apparently D. No periods involved.

I went to elementary school with a girl named Scarlet Ann Gray. This was in Columbus, Ohio, home of the Buckeyes. At least one autumn, a reporter came to talk to her. She was not amused.

I posted this years ago that I worked for a consulting engineer group that had an elder engineer named Dick Johnson.
His nickname at the office was 'Redundant'.

My grandfather and uncle were both named B.B. Easy name to spell, at least.

There is a town in NH I used to live next to by the name of Dover. Rumor had it that the founding father was named Ben. True story. I don't remember ever investigating how true that story was.

Back around 1974, I worked with a girl named Patricia Hurst. At the time Patty Hearst was all over the papers and news because she was kidnapped as some of you probably remember. I was at a concert (they were free outdoor concerts they had on the local college campus) that she was at and the announcer said over the loudspeaker as a joke "Patty Hearst" please come to the office area you have a phone call. She went up to the front responding to the announcement.

That reminded me of my ol' buddy, Ted Gum. He married a nice lady named Sandy. Her new name, of course, was Sandy Gum. That leaves sort of an odd taste in your mouth just thinking about it.

I've had a test user here in this forum for a few years that you might have seen briefly. His name is Hugh Jass.
