A graphics designer that I follow on twitter posted a cool picture when he was at the All Star Game last week.

Wonder if that will make any sense to an archaeologist in the future? Nice work.

Probably not the kind of surface I would want to see food cooking on.

After burgers and brats, maybe a little dessert?

They are very good.
Manhole lids should never be boring.
There are many old cast lids from early times in the older parts of our cities here.
I've often thought they'd make excellent paving leading to my house, lined with old survey markers.

I saw a brand new phone company cover last week that was quite striking.
Keep them coming. Photos ie

Ratchet lock?

I have never seen such an affair as a "cam-lock" on a MH cover. That is pretty fancy!

I guess you guys get the "quality" stuff with your proximity to Neenah.

Are they difficult to get off?

Ratchet lock?

I'd think a large magnet could do it. Maybe an electromagnet. Need something with about 500lbs lifting force, I'm guessing. Cool MH with the gear-locking.

Ratchet lock?

Getting them off is easy, getting them to line back up when putting them on is a bit tougher. The ratchet lock is pretty much the standard around here.

You're doing it right; if you're not missing any fingers when you are done.

I'm surprised the PC Police haven't deleted this threat. You can't say manhole, it's being orifice. ROTFLOL.
