Have you tried to buy tires lately??ÿ Have you tried to get replacement parts lately??ÿ Have you tried to get all sorts of things only to learn that they are not available right now??ÿ This seems to be the situation no matter what it is we need right now.?ÿ Heck, it's even crippling the agricultural sector, too.
We are seeing new home construction shrinking and the buying of older homes increasing.?ÿ Lumber prices are shooting through the roof.?ÿ Anything involving oil or metal may not even be available, as in made from oil-based products or manufactured from metal.

I asked a dealership about a spray on bed liner today and the guy said they were warned that whatever chemical glues the stuff to the bed is low and will probably run out later this summer.?ÿ Maybe it was a sales trick, I dunno??ÿ I wouldn't be surprised if it was true; I passed on the liner anyway.
I've been waiting for a replacement slide pole for the rover for three weeks.
One example from the agricultural field involves purchasing the wrap that goes around the big bales of hay people see as they traverse the country.?ÿ Haying season here starts in about two weeks.?ÿ The listed price is 150 percent of what it was a year ago but there is none in stock anywhere.?ÿ The suppliers have no idea when they will be receiving it.?ÿ?ÿ

During WWII there was a huge shortage of tires and tubes for general population vehicles.?ÿ Driving was minimized due to the potential for not being able to return due to a blowout.?ÿ Commerce was greatly impacted.?ÿ I recall a fellow who was a grade school student during WWII telling me of the time he went with his parents on a round trip of less than 40 miles on paved roads.?ÿ They had to stop, dismount, disassemble, patch the tube, reassemble, remount various tires seven times before they arrived home.
