So currently needing a PC in a bad way, like many others around here. Lined up with work through August, we??re all approaching ??fumes? in terms of handling it.
Been dangling carrots in front of a few guys I know, but they??re pretty entrenched (which is fine), decided to put an ad out on indeed.
Willing to pay a premium for somebody who wants to take on everything it means, and advertised as much.
So far- three days in- have gotten 6 responses. And here??s the deal- not a one of them, not one, has held a job for more than 9 months straight. A couple of the guys have been surveying since I was in elementary school. One guy listed 37 jobs in 32 years! Hahahaha- I don??t know how you??d even remember them all, let alone decide to be honest about it on your resume.
Thinking I might just have to hire another RPLS and go back to the field for a while myself...

Probably means Party Chief.?ÿ I see lots of usage this way even when the party probably consists of the PC, a tripod, a receiver, and data collector.

I would come, but I'd have to have $750 an hour.
I wouldn't know what to do, so for me, the work would be harder, so I would have to earn more.
