Yesterday I went back to check my backsight and found it was walking away with some kids, so I chased it down and thought I??d averted the problem, but it turns out the eye piece out of the rotating plummet has been unscrewed (see image).

Long shot but wondering if anyone has a spare floating around as local dealer says its not available as a separate spare? Seems such a waste not to be able to use it on account of one part.

Managed to find a dealer in a nearby country who had an old one to cannilbalise so hopefully I'll be away again. Rotating plummet so good for being able to check adjustment on the spot!
Glad you found one. I have two of these units, and although I don't use them any more, I'm not at the point where I'd part with them yet. Well, maybe for the right price...
