The guy looking through the gun could see the rodman running; from a swarm of hornets, an alligator, a mad bull, with a snake attached to his neck, a crazy woman with curlers in her hair and a shot gun........there's a lot more too and most of us have been there...:-)

At O'hare airport one day, I was giving a shot on a point by a taxiway, (Lenker Rod) and the i-man shouted at me to HIT THE DECK! I did, and just then a small leer jet wing went right over my head. There was an antenna sticking out of the front of the wing, and that would have hit me in the back of the head. The jet was coasting downwind, and was nearly silent. Maybe 30-40 mph. From then on, they used to occasionally scream HIT THE DECK! and I would. Right in a mud puddle or otherwise.
Sometimes we have to look out for each other.
