115 acres being broken up by four adjoiners and then the rest being split into four tracts.
Did I say Yipee! yet.

I needed this one bad, I guess we get to eat next month. 🙂

 Here's to hoping that they are all on the same page as to how it's being split up.

Isn't it great when things just fall into your lap when least expected. The stress level goes from 110% to 10% rather quickly.

Same here, in the past 3 days I got 3 calls from unknown people totaling about $4.5K over the next week or so. And at regular fees. Nice, especially since I'd hadn't needed to charge my batteries in two weeks.

Who knows when Mr Stress level gets back to triple digits, but I'll take this for now and pay down some credit.

Have fun on your 115 acres, good stuff there...

Good 🙂 , Thanks for asking. We are keeping busy without trying. I am easing more and more into "semi" retirement. Kathy still helping her replacement at our local post office with USPS problems. I do believe the USPS has really gone to "heck" because she retired 18 months ago.
Not a week goes by that we do not talk about our NW traverse and all the BEER-LEG people we met thanks to you.:-D

Quiet is right

I don't mean to rain on your parade at all. Good for you if it works out.
I've had too many "yippee" moments and then it all gets shot down shortly after.
It happened to me just a couple weeks ago. I never mentioned it because I figured it might fall apart. Sure enough.
The deal was about a contract programming job that could have lasted for a couple years. As soon as the 2 principals of the company found out about my background, they wanted to hire me outright.
Long story short, their data was so messed up I wasn't sure I cared to take on the project and just walk away. They offered to triple my normal rate and things were looking good.
..... then the 2 principals had a major falling out and they shut down their own company in a couple of days. I can't say I'm surprised really. They were complete opposites.

I guess it's why I'm flat line on emotion these days.

I have had the same type of good fortune. Last week, at the urging of a former co-worker, I responded to a Craigslist ad. Had the final interview yesterday, have to fill out paperwork today, start Monday. Six month contract with a pretty good chance of going permanent. Very good pay!! I guess I am now a part of the oil and gas industry.

Grant

Grant,
That is just what I did. Things were so bad that by the time I got home it was funny!

Had a scare with one of the pups last weekend. We were at the coast and a friend was watching the Dogs. Got a call Saturday that one of the pups "Dirt Bag" got out. Later that evening I decided to look on craigs list, there he was!. He had followed a very nice young man home who put him in is garage until we got home on Sunday.
"WHEW"!!!

Joe

"Dirt Bag" was probably out looking for you. That young man deserves a break on his next lot survey. I am not sure I would have thought of Craig's List. Glad he is home safe.
