According to a Massachusetts real estate agent's blog post from two years ago, Massachusetts is a PLSS state! See the fourth paragraph in the blog post. I'm going to start looking for section corner monuments!

I suppose this is what I would expect taking survey advice from a real estate broker.

Most of his article seems to be reasonably good for general info directed at real estate clients.  Cool pic of a rock boundary wall.

@eapls2708 I too liked the wall in that photo. The curve and the good condition give me the impression is that it's a modern wall rather than one from the 18th or 19th century, but it's a nice one in any case.
