What does "B" in GTS 4B mean?

Assuming you are asking about a Topcon GTS-4B, an instrument model from around 1991 -

The Topcon GTS-4B was a lower-spec version of the first-introduced GTS-4; a bit shorter range rating and lower angular resolution/accuracy.?ÿ That provided a model that could be sold at a lower price point.

Thanks Glenn and offer on the spec. but I don't need. Wow just the opposite of what i was thinking.?ÿ Figured the B meant it was the 4 with something extra.?ÿ Lol.?ÿ I have the manual for the Topcon GTS 4 and It shows that exact page you have posted, section 20, except does not show that comparison, only shows the 4 spec.
