To expand on the "What clients think I do" --- Walk around with a metal detector, dig up a pipe at the property corner (because EVERY property corner is already monumented, right?), THEN rake in the moocho bucks.
Did I mention "Question the surveyors results if it doesn't fit the GIS". -OR- Explain to the client why it's a good idea to have a survey done, even if an attorney says "You don't need to spend said moocho bucks on a surveyor, I can write that description for you at a fraction of the cost".
Chip on my shoulder? Yes, it's been one of those weeks.
