You could look for a ƒ??Natural ƒ?? backsight, on line but off-site. Did that many times back in the day.

DIY for a tenth of that if you have a few tools in the shop. There are lots of reflectors and magnets available out there.

Well I for one, like to see and use the top dollar stuff. If wrapping a natural or whipping something up with lath and sticky targets would have worked I doubt he would have made the purchase.
