I was just scrolling thru eBay looking at mini prisms and noticed this description for the offsets on these Chinese jobs. They are like the Leica GMP 111 setup and some appear to use the standard 0/30 offsets, such as the one listed here. Why would the offset change if using a Leica gun vs. others?

I checked out a few others and they have similar quotes.

?ÿ

Because a long time ago Leica defined the offset of their standard prism as 0 to enter in the gun, even though that was 34.4 mm from what a flat reflector would need.
