I have exhausted myself in trying to get the settings for all capital letters in the input screen. I reinstalled V 12.46 and still have the same problem. On the older version all you had to do was hold and pres CTRL 7 and the keyboard icon would crop up and you could input all capital letters after hitting the ICON. Anybody got some solutions. I'd like to throw this sum bitch off a cliff sometimes.

Pablo

Function button then the up arrow (key just right of the "D") should do the trick.

I thought it was the function key and caps button. But not for sure. Can verify in the morning.

I am upset cause I got to send mine in to have the screen changed out. It won't let me hit certain spots on the screen. SO $900 later, plus shipping charges. hopefully that issue is fixed.

The caps key is the up arrow key if you look at the controller. Well actually I guess there are two up arrow keys on the TSC2, one on the wheel and one next to the "D" button.

The Fn then CAPS or UPARROW works for a single capitalization but will not lock it on all caps for the input. I'm trying to get the keyboard input to lock on all capital letters.

Click the up arrow twice and that should lock CAPS on full time.....

On mine the up arrow will capitalize one keystroke. Fn and up arrow is caps lock. With caps lock on the up arrow will give you lower case for one keystroke. Fn and up arrow again takes you back to lower case. Survey controller 12.42

Had the same problem with mine, about a year ago, apparently they can't just replace the screen on the TSCII/Ranger. The whole front comes in one piece, and they just replace that part of it. Seems counterintuitive, but thats what the tech that fixed mine showed me. The front and back are connected by a 2-3" green ribbon chord. Pretty interesting stuff.

V 12.42 works great. May just have to go back and reload V 12.42 and forget V 12.46.

Thanks for all the help and input people. Finally got the problem figured out. The Fn (Function Button)doesn't work. Found it out after I set the settings back to sound when a button is pushed. Gotta send it in to get it fixed.

Thanks again,

Pablo
