by the magical boundary fairy of course.

thought you knew that.

Deed descriptions just appear in the recorder's office, no one puts them there. Scientists are studying their origins but there is no conclusive theory on it as yet.

First of all land (in US, NZ and OZ for example) usurped from traditional owners by a government or an individual, then parcels for transfer by gift or sale are identified by physical placement of identifying markers on the land and or by written description from a point of beginning, with or with out field surveying.

A document incorporating ownership details with the description extent of land ownership is then prepared. The description extent from physical marks or the description for non surveyed land being the real property boundaries.

By the consent of the owners, or, a court, in a judicial sense, on sale or execution of or by eminent domain or exercise of the police power, can establish a new boundary without the consent of either or both of the adjoining landowners.

No, Kent reads stuff like this and wonders what it must be like to have to try to drum up seminar business on internet message boards. If this is what it takes, fine. I personally favor a full-employment economy.

Just for the record, you spelled your name wrong, though I'm guessing you did it on purpose to give Kent something to do:-)

Kieth? LOL. I remember one time when you thought I was dissing on you because I spelled your name wrong. It's probably one of the harder names to spell. My fingers have over 50 years of being trained that I Before E except after C.

Apparently, Kent can't answer this question as well. Come on, Kent. This isn't a trick question.

I Disagree With RADU

The US, NZ and OZ did not usurp the land from the traditional owners. The original occupants of these great lands knew that they did not own the land, but that the Great Spirit, the Creator of all lands owned it and they were merely occupants and caretakers of same.

Because we now think we are the supreme owners and can waste it as we please we have much less respect for it.

In good time the owner will reclaim it all from us.

The Real Boundaries were carved on stone tablets and we have failed to heed them.

The artificial boundaries that surveyors concern themselves with are fleeting. We are demigods in that we can create an imaginary line. What is that compared to creating land?
