I'm looking for a good source for either replacement or recelling my batteries for my Geodimeter.. the smaller brick battery that runs the CU on the cradle. I called Primecell and got a price of $95 ++ for a recell and thought that was quite a bit higher than just a few years ago.

thanks.

If you have a Batteries Plus store in your area, I'd recommend them. I had a couple of Geodimeter 444 batteries recelled there and they did an excellent job. In fact, they even upgraded the cells, which increased the life of the batteries by a couple hours. 🙂

Try Batteries for Survey Instruments, I've never seen lower prices.

These guys have done good and prompt work for us re-celling our Trimble stick batteries. Be sure to follow the shipping directions carefully.

$95 sounds good to me. Trimble wants $250 for new batteries.

I use West Texas Batteries for our Trimble batteries. The trick is to find someone that will not mangle your battery cases so they can be re-celled over and over.
