So we are renting a robotic total station for a few weeks.?ÿ Its a Trimble S5?ÿand I'm running Trimble Access on the data collector, which is a Yuma 2 tablet.?ÿ So reading a PDF version of Access it appears I should be able to offset objects, such as when you can't get a shot on it but can measure a distance over to it.?ÿ It should be a choice under "measure topo" and there is a menu choice "method".?ÿ Mine only has two choice, something like angles only and another choice, neither of which has anything to do with offsets.?ÿ Any ideas on why the offset choices aren't there?
Should have horizontal angle offset, vertical angle offset and a few others.
Take the EDM out of Tracking.
