I am down to my last BT-61Q battery and have found out they no longer make these. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement for these batteries, as it appears nobody will recell them either. Thanks.
Do you have "Batteries Plus" stores locally? They recelled a Pentax battery inhouse for me a couple or three years ago.

Yeah they said they couldn't do anything with them...
I would ask to speak to the manager.

I am thinking that your Topcon GTS-series is actually a GTS-720 series rather than a GTS-700.
We have three new ones in stock and they are still listed on Topcon's fancy new on-line dealer order website.
List Price - $175
From all appearances they look functionally identical to the Topcon QS series batteries. I would double check the voltage, and find an amp hour rating of as good or better than your 61q.
We ordered ours from Hayes. No luck with the ebay-direct from china option as of yet. (Unlike the $180 trimble batteries I am picking up for $17)
