If you have to ask what that 'thing' is; you probably don't want to know...
The world is full of things I probably don't want to know, but I'm silly enough to ask anyway.
SO WHAT THE F* IS IT??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Did someone finally kill one of those Pokemon Go critters we've been hearing about lately?
It can't be any worse than the experience a trucker had in Emporia, Kansas back about 1989. As he walked across a snowy expanse of grass between his parked semi and a diner he found a severed penis of the human variety on the ground. He was smart enough to leave it there and simply report the discovery to the authorities. Some poor fellow had a female "friend" who thought she wanted to follow Lorena Bobbit's claim to fame.

It wasn't of the human variety; more like some kind of soft plastic or maybe rubber.

It's a marital aid...
Well that's a new take on *beating the bounds*

File that under contemporary observations

Are you sure that thing wasn't once attached to a Pokemon Go critter?
So, that's what a marital aid looks like, eh. Only in states that promote gay marriage I hope.
I would've been HOPPING mad!

One of many, many....
You would be surprised at what people will stick up their....
(Or so I've been told):innocent: :imp:
Now, that was punny. Downright cornographic.
Wow, I'm not sure where this thread has diverged to. Took me about 10 minutes to figure out what "that" picture was. I kept scanning the pic looking for something. I figured clear plastic was some data collector accessory that I was not familiar with. Pretty sure I would not pick that up off the side of the road.

I asked Henry about the picture and he indicated that the rabbit carcass had no bearing on his marking and picture and I believe that to be true. He decided not to move it and just marked and photographed as normal. Most of the caps recovered were all from the same company and this picture is sufficient for this point. He probably shot close to 50 pics and I have been by the site, so I think we're covered.
I don't think we necessarily needed the paint either, but on some jobs it's required so he's just keeping practice. I'm not paying for the paint so I don't care. As long as he's not spraying excessively or marking up the marble staircase of the Catholic Church..

Reminds me of the road striping crew and the dead skunk in the middle of the road.
Was the Rabbit called for in the record description ?

How did you describe that "thing" on your survey? (enquiring Beerleggers NEED to know) !
The bar was off by a (formerly) cunning brown hare.

The SECOND picture Cow. Cripes!
Oh, I'm with you on the second picture.
How does one accidentally misplace such a "private" thing in close proximity to a survey monument? Having it misplaced seems to fit into its work function, however. Well, that is, if my vivid imagination is able to perceive why such a thing was manufactured.
Sorry to get you rattled, Old Timer, so early in the day. Your metamucil probably hasn't had time to kick in yet.

I wish I could say that is the first item like that the guys have found... unfortunately, when working down in the Rio Grande valley on a large project, the guys found other similar items on a regular basis. I'm not sure what it is, but they seem more and more common the closer you get to Mexico...
