I got my copy of "Louisiana Engineer & Surveyor" in the mail the other day.
On Page 4, is the Enforcement Report, and the first victim (convict? wrongdoer?) has a whole list of offenses for failing to follow the standards of practice.
On Page 6 there is a fellow with the exact same name receiving a plaque for his service to the LAPELS board.
Hmmmmmm.
Et Tu Brute!
Typical Louisiana,?ÿ I see what i can find out convention this week.?ÿ ?ÿSure he is responsible charge somewhere and someone under him slipped up.?ÿ?ÿ
At the first engineering consultancy I worked at, the geotech lab had?ÿ a wall with a lot of funny cartoons and lists on it. One of them read something like "The 10 stages of a project" and the last two stages were something like "9. Punishment of the innocent. 10. Accolades for the guilty".
That's exactly it! I especially remember the last one, now. True as it was all those years ago, and just as true today.
