It's been a very hard week and not just the heat. Surveying (topo) for a planned five lane road.
Just dodged this that flew off a jeep coming by at 50mph.
A bit of copper from some bracket. They never knew it came off so it was not intentional. I was watching and my ninja skills served me well as I did my best matrix moves. We learn to do that in the field.
And using some cool apps to document our progress. But we switched to 6 to 2 because of summer so we get to see the sunrise, which is amazing in SW Okie.
But the apps on a phone are so cool.
But we did this control point before this bloated in our heat. I'm not sure if he was hit by a car or just burnt up crossing the street in the 107 temps last week.
I need a job around Paducah, Kentucky. Anyone need a wore out but very experienced CAD tech or survey hand. I'd prefer the office. I just cannot take the heat anymore.
I can clean restrooms, snap to the endpoints and run a schoney when needed. I'm the guy in the cartoon who has come full circle. The rodman again, but a damned fine one. I hope that word doesn't get me banned. LOL

The last I heard, the job market was sparse in Paducah. Several larger companies in the area downsized considerably. I don't know if they are beginning to pick-up yet or not.
I used to work there and can provide some info on the companies in the area, but I haven't been in many many years.
What apps ya use? The one with your prism pole looks kinda like gps essentials but not quite.....
