Open new RW5.
Import TDS RAW file. (Total station).
Review and edit as necessary.
Process through Survnet.
Open RW5 and look at all the POINT records that are added.
I do not want points in my fieldbook when I control those through the NEZ file for the area.
Anybody see this?
I seem to remember having a problem like that. Try making sure you delete the point record AND the heading.

Have never seen SurvNet modify an RW5.
In the raw data editor in survey (not SurvNET), under Edit, select Convert Points to Note Records.

Hi Thaddeus,
SurvNET does not write to the RW5 file but I have seen the Carlson editor create PT records when it thinks it needs them.
Can you send me your original TDS file and the RW5 file that has the added PT records? I will dig into it for you.
