Nope you don't have a metes and bounds license, only the 13 original states and Texas have that.

Well, of course it is.?ÿ This particular tract is in an arid part of the PLSS and the southern portion of the boundary is the thread of a large stream.?ÿ ?????ÿ
I'm betting MightyMoe has two meander corners at the west and east ends of the parcel to find.
Good guess but for this survey we didn't need to deal with any water. This country is dry and remote, the owner told us if we happen on a lion to please shoot it for him. We didn't see any, they are safe from the survey crew.

With the heat down here in the summer, it feels as though the entire state is sagging/melting from it. That might be apropos.
