Do you offer training to the Nigerian surveyors? Setting up GPS reference system or is that already running?
Looks as a massif control point and a lot of equipment you have there.
First survey experience in Africa? Never been there ... totally different environment.

Oh my gosh! No fixed height tripods? How can that be? You mean a Surveyor might have to measure the height accurately?

Good foundation work for buildling lots of good things. More cell towers and WiFi to increase scam volume and employment for locals. Build some roads out to the villages and get them wired.
Are you updating and densifying an existing system, or starting from scratch??
