Hi,
Can some of the European surveyors tell me where they get their supplies? It's difficult here in Belgium to order something in the US because of additional taxes.
I'm especially looking for "flagging tape". Goecke doesn't seem to have these.

A supplier who imports teh Seco stuff directly would be handy.

Lieven

Try contacting SECO and see who their European distributors are. Or maybe they list them on their website.

York Survey Supply stock flagging tape and have a Euro account. They normally manage to send things within a few hours of ordering.

No flooding in Newcastle at the moment; it's the southern part of the country which is underwater.

The big floods up in the north-east were in June 2012. I'm still working on the aftermath of the worst one.

Two years of precise level monitoring work thanks to nature.
