I had the red swingline deluxe, I prefer it because it doesn't bind up...someone took it and replaced it with the newer cheap black swingline which isn't nearly as good.

So if whoever did it could switch them back it would be greatly appreciated. Okay thanks...

it's always nice when others help themselves to stuff on your desk....

I'm actually liking this flat-stacker pretty well.... wasn't a big fan of the that model of swingline.

My hp11c is an app on my iPhone.

The State just issued me a brand new Samsung Galaxy S7, it's pretty nice.

My 1993 Swingline 94-02. (I guess that's the model number; it's the only number I found on it.)

I just got a Samsung J-3 a couple of months ago.
Never used the 11c or 15c for anything important.

must be nice.... I asked for a smart phone 2.5 years ago and submitted the requisite paperwork... denied - ( had to be approved by the equipment bureau chief in Helena... I was to use the trusty rugby flip phone they issued me... so I put the rudgy in my desk drawer and told my boss I wasn't going to carry the state phone because the people that need to call me in the field is a pretty short list that have my personal number... most others I can't answer their questions in the field anyway.... so, eventually they turned off my phone to save the single digit monthly expense (there was a quota of # of phone they had to disconnect)....... now when my boss calls me on my personal phone~ I always remind him that he's talking to me on my personal phone..... btw~ the environmental permit tech has a mini-ipad with a data package, in case he needs anything in the field......oh, and they just gave each construction crew 2 iphones so they can use the stockpile reports app.

They usually only issue Smartphones to people who never leave the office but I managed to overcome that about 4 years ago.

My second flip phone broke so I asked for a smartphone. After some hemming and hawing they found one that wasn't being used because the assignee preferred to use his own. So I got the first hand me down. Then a year or two later my coworker lost his and by then they were only issuing smartphones so he got a brand new one. Mine has been limping pretty badly so when IT said it is obsolete, can't connect to outlook 365 I asked my boss for a new phone. His boss offered another slightly newer hand me down but my boss, to his credit, said no get a new one because the hand me down will be obsolete next year and we'll be doing this again. So they did, thought I'd encounter more headwinds than I did but they've been finding more dollars for equipment the last few years.

Use HP 11c for sales tax, plat check distances on each side of boundaries to equal, prorate lot distances.
There is HP48GX to the left for computing coordinate transposing and is loaded with SMI v7 DOT
My S5 has HP41 app
Just went two rounds with Samsung and Verizon about USB to OTG file transfer and got a great big "I don't know"

.

[SARCASM]sounds too familiar....... they have to push back away from their computer to use their smart phone apps..... or google something and call it from the webpage link instead of dialing it on the landline......

I'm really hoping we don't go there in California, but I'm not optimistic.

About 5 years ago we ordered some new staplers like the one attached. After several failed attempts stapling some copies of field notes together, I realized I had been doing it wrong! I had been using my palm to depress the stapler instead of the one finger as they advertised proudly on the side of the device. So after a couple more failed attempts with just the one finger, I exclaimed "one finger, my a$$!". After a brief second of silence, the entire office was crying with laughter. It's still a popular running joke around the office. They may put it on my tombstone.

I have two of these. They are bullet proof.

This one I found in a foreclosure house I was remodeling/repairing for a client when surveying was slow back in 2009. The other one was the stapler that my grandparents had in their ceramic shop when I was a kid. I think about them every time I pick it up. I remember my grandmother using it at her desk. Theirs is a light tan.

A former coworker at a former job had worked for the City of Ukiah Public Works Dept. One day one of the water maintenance workers broadcasted on the City 2-way radio, "I'm up on Helen and I need a cock." He always broke up laughing telling that story.

I have one identical to yours about two feet from my head right now. However, it is standard government gray colored, which makes me wonder.....................how.......did.......I........end.......up.......with.......a........government.......stapler??? Maybe it was that visit to the IRS office back in 1988. Maybe it was some other opportunity. Maybe it was in a box of stuff I purchased at a garage sale.
