What is the most comfortable, light-weight snake boot? Would appreciate your opinions.

THANKS

I have a pair of Danner's that I really like. Not cheap but comfortable, breathable & waterproof.

Another vote for Danner Rainforest boots. Snakes are not a concern around here, but they would make fine boots for that. So pricey that I don't wear them often. I must say that they are easy on the feet and ankles but long term use will leave my knees sore.

I have the Danners. They are far less sweaty than wearing gaiters

Define 'snake. Most rattlers around here can barely reach the top of my office shoes. A good pair of tall leathers will do fine. Back in Texas it was gators to the knees...

Don't have snakes here but if they did I'd probably just go with chaps like these

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me.

My Danner snake boots go pretty much up to the knees.  I opted for boots over chaps just because of the amount of time I spent in them.  It was for a dam removal project in the snake (tick and cougar) infested lower Klamath River basin.  I have not worn them since.
