I dug out my old 48GX with the 48SCE card that I used on my survey exam back in 1990. All seems to work fine, but I don't have the manual any more and don't remember what the ALPHA code was to initialize. Any takers? Thank you!

Thank you! I remembered it probably not 5 minutes before you responded. Actually it could have been at the same time or a tad before. I checked this just as I finished celebrating, but you are absolutely correct. That calculator really helped me 23 years ago. Too bad they're outlawed now. The curve program is still nice to use when keying in a plat. This site gets great traffic. You must be an old time surveyor as myself. I started surveying in 79. That doesn't make me that old, but I can still compute long hand. However the 48 made the test so much easier to handle, and everyone had one. Greetings and Thanks again. Chris
