My GA-52cx broke and I'm looking for recommendations on a repair company. Thanks.

I recommend Schonstedt -- I had them redo my 1984-vintage locator a few years back and was pleased with the result:

http://www.schonstedt.com/index.cfm?page=repair

If you search "Schonstedt" on this site (Beer Leg, not Schonstedt) you'll find more thoughts and advice.

Definately recommend Schonstedt.

Just had them completely re-do my 15 year old detector and I cant tell the difference between it and a brand new one now.

I sent my old 52C to Schonstedt for repair a while back and they sent it back saying they could not fix it. Circuit board was bad and they were out of them.

Sent it to that guy in POB that charges a flat rate and they fixed it in a couple of days.

I'm just saying.

JA, PLS SoCal

Only go to schonstedt! It might be covered under the warrenty if it's not 7 years old yet too.

I've sent to both places and recommend both.
