Last Mar. the rover went bust (at 1.5 ys old). Sent to sunnyvale for repair which resulted in a new board and buttons. Fine. Got it back early June and ever since not getting the same performance.
- Number of locked SV will jump fr. 13 to 5 while stationary, or nearly so.
- Float solution in light tree canopy, where used to get fix.
- Losing radio link w/ base frequently.
Am at a loss w/ this. what up?
BTW, Epoch50 GNSS/GLONSS

Had a similar case with a Topcon. After the receiver board was replaced it just didn't act like it use to...lotsa float then fix then float then fix. The range seemed to suffer also.
Finally sent it back to the shop (twice!?#$%)..
The internal board-to-antenna-connection was bad. Had that replaced and it was good to go. The tech told me visually it looked tight, so they never checked it.
