I actually had a planner at the city "are your symbols to scale". It was showing an electric and gas meter along side the house.

This one was funny. It was registered with the land court, then became unregistered and was condominiumized. The unregistered plan does not match the land court plan and neither match the ground conditions by more than normal in this neck of the woods. We recovered the monuments with RTK and located the monuments with RTK. We have returned to stake specific lines and we have verified the monuments along the line in question with the adjacent plans, then staked the specific line. We have never prepared a formal survey of the entire property nor have we prepared a plan of land. We have provided a sketch with aerial topographical plans... so the scale won't help.
Fortunately the buildings are far from the setbacks.
