I had some thugs steal my empty instrument case from me today. I bet they were bummed when they opened it and saw it was empty. They didn't have time to grab the GPS case only a foot away before my I-man saw 'em.

Anyhow, anyone know where to find a replacement Topcon GPT-8200 series case?

you could always get a soft case from one of the suppliers. Pretty much any instrument will fit in one and it's easier to carry than a hard case.

I have one that I might be willing to part with. I replaced my clamshell type with one that looks like the cases for the newer Topcon instruments with the backpack straps.

I went with a softcase for my 9003 and carved out the foam for a nice fit. I put a towel on the top to tuck it in and its real comfy.

If interested I look which one it is.
